Bluebird Care (Wirral) opened for business in April 2009, and in October 2009 had its first Care Quality Commission (CQC) assessment and came out with the highest possible award of two stars.
Bluebird Care (Wirral) is a customer orientated business that focuses on delivering what it promises. A business that values its staff and pays the highest wages in the area to its Care Workers: allows travel time between customer visits: and pays its staff a mileage allowance.
By looking after its staff Bluebird (Wirral) has a very low staff turnover this means that its customers get the same Care Worker most of the time promoting an improved continuity of service and a happier environment.
The stories i hear from my 97 year old Nan is one of totally random arrival times, totally random carers, no continuity, and carers who cant even boil an egg.
It is a shame to see so little information online regarding this organisation on Wirral, and hopefully this review will spark a debate as to alternative options open to us.
